DEAR BUSINESS OWNER,
You are being invited to help sponsor the 9th annual Desert Dog Regional Police K-9 Trials. This is a competition among Police, Military and Security K-9’s, that is open to the public. The event is scheduled for April 9th and 10th 2011, at Scottsdale City Stadium, located at 7408 E. Osborn Rd.
Unfortunately, due to the economy, we have lost most of the funding and sponsorship from past sources. If we do not find new sponsorship, the K-9 Trials will be cancelled.
We generally have numerous visual displays such as helicopters, Police/SWAT vehicles, fire engines and public safety equipment. We also have a children’s fingerprinting booth on scene, along with information booths on safety and crime prevention. We have pet rescue/adoption booths in order to help find a good home for dogs in need. In the past we have had over 25 vendor booths and 7,500 – 10,000 spectators. Programs are printed and handed out free, to the spectators. Raffles will be conducted throughout the day along with prizes for trivia contests. We will also have extensive media coverage promoting the trials.
